XR/MRI Technologist

Job Description:  Your main responsibilities will be performing x-ray exams in both a clinic and a surgical setting.  On a day-to-day basis, you will be expected to perform diagnostic XR and MRI exams. To achieve this, you will be working with a team oriented facility dedicated to great patient care. Your work will enable Northern Arizona Orthopaedics to provide professional care in the evaluation and diagnosis of patient injuries.

Requirements and Qualifications:

ARRT license (required), MRTBE license (required), MR license (preferred), CPR (current)

You will have demonstrated strong skills in patient care, diagnostic studies, team work and communication skills. PACS and computer knowledge is not required but a plus.  You will have to be able to move and operate all Radiology equipment.  This includes 3 XR rooms, C-arms, Bone Density and MRI.  The job requires you to lift 50 to 75 lbs and to transfer patients to and from the exam table.

Medical Assistant 

This position is responsible for, but not limited to greeting and rooming patients arriving at the clinic.  Show patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the physician.  Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital signs, weight, and height. Record patients' medical history, vital statistics and information such as test results in medical records.  Preparing and administer medications as directed by a physician.  Explaining treatment procedures, medications, and physicians' instructions to patients.  Helping physicians examine and treat patients, handing them instruments and materials or performing such tasks as removing sutures. Authorizing drug refills and provide prescription information to pharmacies.  Preparing treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean.  Cleaning and sterilizing instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies.  Scheduling appointments for patients.  Changing dressings on wounds.  Contacting medical facilities or departments to schedule patients for tests and/or admission.  Performing general office duties such as answering telephones, taking dictation and completing insurance forms. 
 

Medical Assitant experience preferred, as well as, the ability to provide excellent, pleasant customer service to patients, fluency with computers is a must.

This position is responsible for checking in patients, scheduling appointments, answering phones, and general clerical duties.

Experienced medical front or back office preferred. Ability to provide excellent, pleasant customer service to patients, referring doctor offices and internal staff is a must.
