Northern Arizona Orthopaedics is looking for a motivated, flexible individual, adept in multi-tasking to join its team. Under general supervision this individual will act as the first point of contact on NAO’s multi-line phone system (PBX Operator), including handling incoming, outgoing, and intra-service calls. Responds to incoming calls in a timely manner and directs callers to appropriate destinations providing smooth, clear, and professionally courteous communication. This individual must possess excellent customer service skills and exemplary telephone etiquette. Protects patient/coworker confidentiality and privacy. Performs other duties as assigned. Maintains positive interaction with co-workers and other department personnel.
Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Good memory skills and ability to work under stress are required (NAO receives 26,000 calls per month). Experience working with computers to access data. Must be organized and attentive to detail and maintain confidentiality. Excellent communication skills required.
