A sports medicine knee and shoulder specialist, Dr. Rohrbough has completed a fellowship with the Sports Medicine and Shoulder Service at the prestigious Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. He has assisted in the care of the New York Giants, New York Mets, the New York Power women’s professional soccer team, and several Division I university athletic teams. He is currently an orthopaedic consultant for NAU athletic teams, Sinagua high school, and the internationally respected Center for High Altitude Training here in Flagstaff.

Dr. Rohrbough attended college at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, where he majored in sports medicine. He attended medical school at Loma Linda University in southern California, and received his orthopaedic surgery training at Loma Linda University as well. He and his wife Shashi are blessed with two young children, Ria and Ty. In their free time, the Rohrboughs enjoy skiing, rock climbing, and cycling.

Dr. Rohrbough has written numerous articles and book chapters on sports injury topics, including ACL and cartilage injuries, posterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, elbow reconstruction in throwing athletes, and rock climbing injuries. His non-scientific articles include regular contributions to the medicine section of Climbing magazine. Dr. Rohrbough has been in practice for over 10 years, and has called Flagstaff home since 2001. He spent three years in Tucson as an orthopaedic surgeon in the United States Air Force. During this time he was appointed Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Arizona School of Medicine, Division of Orthopaedic Surgery. He currently holds a volunteer staff position at NAU for the School of Health Professions.
