Meet Tim Fitch, PA-C

Urgent Ortho provider

Why Flagstaff?

Our family found just what we were longing for here and enjoy living where others love to live.

What is your motivation for a healthcare career and for orthopaedics?

I am primarily motivated toward helping with the alleviation of suffering, and promoting a path of independence for patients.

What’s a proud moment in your work?

A supervising physician once asked me to operate on his own cervical disc herniation.

What is your clinical expertise and areas of interest?

My expertise lies in seeing patients as if they were my relatives, and withholding judgment. In yoga, it’s called Prem; unconditional love. My interests are the needs of others.

What do patients appreciate in you?

My genuine interest is in the wellness of their mind and body, which manifests as respect and kindness, as well as helping others understand their condition.

What do you love to do outside of medicine?

I try to spend as much time with my 15-year old son as I can find.

Any special achievements?

I was Mr. Atlanta and Mr. Georgia in my teens.

Any cool facts about you, not yet publicly known?

I am a yogic priest/swami, and frequently rest in samadhi; the realization of non-dualistic reality or purified/divine awareness.
