Dr. Scott Gibson is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon fellowship-trained in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery. He has a special interest and training in Arthroscopy, Sports Medicine, Complex Shoulder injuries and Trauma care. He cares for patients of all ages in Prescott Valley and Flagstaff. When in Flagstaff, Dr. Gibson will be practicing alongside Yuri Lewicky, MD, and Joel Rohrbough, MD, within the Sports Medicine Center.
Dr. Scott Gibson provides a wide range of surgical and nonsurgical care to patients with painful conditions and injuries associated with the shoulder and elbow. He finds his field to be a very rewarding line of medicine where he can care for arthritic, sports, traumatic and complex reconstructive injuries of the shoulder, elbow and knee. Patients of Dr. Gibson have excellent outcomes with rotator cuff repairs, reverse and total shoulder replacement and arthroscopic shoulder surgeries. With his extensive experience in Sports Medicine, Dr. Gibson helps provide athletes with advice on injury prevention, conservative and surgical treatment options, rehabilitation and performance enhancement. Dr. Gibson has had many years of providing care to professional, collegiate, high school, club and recreational athletes of all ages. He and the others in the Sports Medicine Center understand the mental and physical drive of athletes and can help get you back in the game, performing at your best.
Dr. Gibson received his fellowship training at The CORE Institute in Phoenix, Ariz. and is happy to be back in the state. He grew up in the mountains of Colorado and is excited to live the mountain lifestyle again with his wife, Jane, and daughter.
