Northern Arizona Orthopaedics (NAO) is the largest orthopaedic practice in the region, with clinic locations in Flagstaff, Prescott Valley, Sedona and Page. We have multiple surgeons specializing in all sub-specialties of bone and joint care, including spine.
Conveniently located in the Windsong Medical Plaza (3200 N. Windsong Drive in Prescott Valley) our clinic is large, spacious, comfortable and close to the surgery center (Tri City Surgery Center) too.

Who are the people caring for me in the Prescott Valley clinic?
In our Prescott Valley (PV) clinic location, you will find a friendly, expert team. In addition to a smiling front-office support staff, our providers include:
- HAND & WRIST: Mark Mellinger, M.D.
Dr. Mellinger is a board certified, fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hand, wrist and upper extremity care. He is an expert in injuries and conditions such as carpal tunnel, tendinitis, trigger finger, rheumatoid arthritis and fractures. He performs surgeries at TriCity Surgery Center in Prescott. Jamie Pearson, PA-C, is a physician assistant at NAO providing general, non-surgical orthopaedic care, as well specialized hand care with Dr. Mellinger. Jamie is a nationally certified, state-licensed healthcare provider, with a bachelor’s and a nursing degree. Jamie has a background in family medicine, and has been practicing general orthopaedics for more than 13 years.
- FOOT & ANKLE: Stephen Knecht, M.D.
Dr. Knecht is the only board certified orthopaedic foot and ankle surgeon in Northern Arizona and he practices in Flagstaff and PV. With two fellowships, Dr. Knecht specializes in the evaluation and treatment of foot and ankle problems and musculoskeletal trauma.
- HIP & KNEE (ARTHRITIS CARE): Tim Bonatus, D.O.
Dr. Bonatus is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon with additional training through a fellowship for Orthopaedic Trauma and Fracture Care. An expert in hip and knee replacements, he is a member of the Arthritis and Fracture Care Center at NAO.
- SPORTS MEDICINE: Yuri Lewicky, M.D.
Dr. Lewicky is highly respected for his expertise in shoulder and knee care for injuries and over-use conditions. Board certified, Dr. Lewicky is fellowship trained in Arthroplasty (joint replacement surgery) and Sports Medicine.
- GENERAL ORTHO: Stuart Davis, M.D.
Fellowship trained and an expert in General Orthopaedics and Foot & Ankle, Dr. Davis is skilled in non-surgically treating patients with a variety of bone, muscle or joint injuries and conditions. He is the Medical Director of our Urgent Ortho clinic in Flagstaff. Jamie Pearson, PA-C, is a physician assistant at NAO providing general, non-surgical orthopaedic care. Jamie is a nationally certified, state-licensed healthcare provider, with a bachelor’s and a nursing degree. Jamie has a background in family medicine, and has been practicing general orthopaedics for more than 13 years.
- BACK AND NECK: Eamonn Mahoney, M.D.
Dr. Mahoney is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon with special fellowship training in Spine Surgery. He is considered a specialist in minimally invasive back and neck surgery. Utilizing technology and techniques currently considered state-of-the-art in spine surgery, and with an appreciation for innovation, Dr. Mahoney practices approaches to surgical spine interventions, such as minimally invasive fusion using a Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion (TLIF) technique; and Oblique Lateral Interbody Fusion (OLIF) for lateral spine surgery. Dr. Mahoney enhances the quality of spine care available in Flagstaff by performing these less-invasive back and neck surgeries.
