Dr. Yuri, is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon, he is a Flagstaff native, Fellowship trained in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopic Surgery of the Shoulder and Knee. He is a sports medicine, knee and shoulder specialist whose passion lies in the ability to reconstruct a damaged shoulder through skin portals the size of a ball tip pen. He has authored numerous scientific articles pertaining to the Arthroscopic treatment of sports injuries as well as a chapter on the Arthroscopic treatment of massive rotator cuff tears. Of recent he has turned his love of nature photography into one of shoulder arthroscopy image capture and has had several images portrayed as the cover image for the prestigious Journal of Arthroscopy. He has assisted in the care of Major League Baseball’s San Diego Padres, San Diego Gulls Hockey, as well as several Division I university athletic teams. He currently is one of the Orthopaedic team physicians for NAU Athletics and is a consultant for the High Altitude Training Center in Flagstaff.
Dr. Lewicky and his wife, Paola, enjoy spending time outdoors with their two sons, Diego and Marco. Together, they go skiing, hiking and take time to enjoy beautiful sunsets.
